New Regulations from 1st of june 2025
As from 01/06/25 the regulator nmc has banned remote prescibeing in all forms for anti wrinkle treatments to fall in line with other regulators, all practitioners must make sure clients have a face to face consultation with a nurse prescriber to authorizie a prescription for this treatment, thats anyone, anywhere.

Remote Prescribing
Remote prescribing has previously been misused in several ways, one of which involved nurses issuing prescriptions from a distance without direct oversight of the patient. prescriptions were approved merely by reviewing a signed medical history form, which did not prioritize client safety.
Second and most critical abuse arises when signed medical history forms are not submitted by the practitioner, leading to the use of an unlicensed product as a replacement. They may show and convince you a product from the fridge is genuine but is actually an unlicensed toxin refilled in old vial that previously contained the legitimate product. Many have been misled by cunning smiles of a practitioner, and have you ever seen your prescription? of course not. Observe prices increases, as the cost of the treatment they provide does not align with the actual price of the product.
Know your prescriber
A nurse prescriber is the sole individual to approve a prescription for a legitimate anti-wrinkle treatment product. When pursuing anti-wrinkle treatment. Request the prescriber's PIN number from the practitioner, which can be verified online on the NMS website. Once confirmed, reach out to the prescriber directly to ensure they work alongside with the practitioner and the establishment.
